We often get asked "How old is this house"? There is a lot of debate among the McGarity descendants, but the earliest county record is 1912, so that is what we go with. In 2006 we opened the doors of this beautiful homeplace as a wedding and event facility. We love to host weddings, but Melita (the manager & owners daughter) really developed a passion for gardening and maintaining the grounds. Often getting asked by photographers for permission to shoot on the property, we decided to open up the grounds as a photography venue. We want to be good stewards of the land, and share what God has blessed us with, offering photographers a unique opportunity to explore their craft in a peaceful setting..
